As Sadhguru walked on to the Queen Elizabeth theatre stage in Vancouver I noticed the frequency of space instantly changing. His presence heightening and electrifying everything. As he settled in his seat I began to understand why he was named one of India’s 50 most influential people and is considered a visionary mystic and yogi by millions worldwide.
The beautiful, funny, humble and deep two hour lecture seemed to end much too fast. With the entire experience feeling more like minutes instead of hours. As Sadhguru walked through the audience signing books, and greeting people, Ingrid and I were invited backstage for a private audience with this intensely interesting man.
Sitting down before Sadhguru I felt as though he could read my thoughts as he smiled and peacefully nodded in our direction. Feeling a little nervous, I launched into an unprompted description of the Genie which thankfully and naturally flowed into the very topic he seemed to be teaching us without saying a word – awareness.
Me holding Sadhguru’s latest book Inner Engineering: A Yogis Guide to Joy completed the scene with this beautiful book’s primary focus being how to effectively pilot the remarkable machine that is the human body. Teaching us how to live up to our highest potential, reaching full stride and living life without boundaries. A true guide to a joy filled life.
A book I’d like to recommend to you now. If you’re interested in living a liberated live, this wonderful guide is full of tools that will help you get back in the driver’s seat and reclaim your natural joy. Please do yourself a favour and check it out here.
