You may remember me asking you to help a mom a few weeks ago. Both her and her family are very appreciative of all the emails of support and guidance. As am I. Thank-you so very much for taking the time to help. Here is a section of her email to me:

“I am writing to let you know how very grateful I am to you for all your support.I still can’t believe the overwhelming support I have received from your readers. I have been going through the emails and I have followed up with a couple of them. I am so grateful to those people who so generously offered to help I can honestly say that for the first time since all this started I feel like I have found people who actually understand how we feel and where we are with this.I feel so much compassion from your readers. They have lifted my spirit.
There are so many people out there who have a similar situation to ours.I have learned from all our research that estrangement is a growing epidemic and it’s not something that’s talked about a lot. I believe it’s just too painful.Maybe it’s time to start the conversation.”

The whole process got me thinking. I believe our desire to help others is innate and given the opportunity, people will do what they can, when they can. In order to facilitate this, I’ve set up a Wishes Fulfilled Facebook Group. My hope is that this virtual community will be able to help each other out when needed. Acting as a forum where you can post any challenges with the faith that someone in the group may be able to help. If you are interested in joining this closed group please click here

It’s truly beautiful how this community is organically blooming. Thanks for sharing your magic.
