One of life’s great illusions says there are secrets. In reality, the universe is always watching and listening and every thought, every action, produces a reaction.
Truth is, I have met very few people that don’t shit talk at one time or another. Growing up, the big joke in our family was to ask people to beep their horn when they left to let us know that we could all start taking about them. With Dad having 15 brothers and sisters and Mom 12, gossip was a major form of communication. And while it was mostly all done in good fun at the time, it has the potential to have very negative consequences for your life.
There are no secrets
Now, when I catch myself talking negatively I remember that there are no secrets. If we think a thought enough it is much more likely to become a reality. Begin to view your thoughts as frequencies the universe matches with experiences. With negative thoughts contributing to and helping create negative experiences.
Let’s follow Eckhart Tolle’s lead when he says “See if you can catch yourself complaining, in either speech or thought, about a situation you find yourself in, what other people do or say, your surroundings, your life situation, even the weather. To complain is always nonacceptance of what is. It invariably carries an unconscious negative charge. When you complain, you make yourself into a victim. When you speak out, you are in your power. So change the situation by taking action or by speaking out if necessary or possible; leave the situation or accept it. All else is madness.”
Don’t sabotage yourself with negative thoughts. Accept what is, always look for solutions and take your positively charged power back.
