We all have choices to make. And following your dreams can sometimes get buried in the endless “to dos” that must be done to keep your life on track. Take right now for example. I could decide to not write this email. I have a lot of other TO DOs to do. We have two big events coming up with Deepak Chopra, a TV show to take care of ,etc, etc.
We all have dreams. The question you may need to ask yourself is, how much do you want to see yours? Wish fulfillment isn’t always pretty. Safracifes sometimes need to be made. Is that burning desire burning you up? Is it inside you making you unhappy? It might be a sign to switch things up. Bring that idea to the top of the to do list and get on with it. There’s no such thing as not enough time.
Next time, instead of saying “I don’t have the time to follow my dreams” Say “Right now, my dream is not a priority for me” This simple perspective switch will do the one thing we all need. It’ll bring the responsibility back to you. Saying I don’t have time to go to the gym is one thing. But saying it’s not my priority to eat well or take care of myself might not feel so good when you say it out loud. Try it out, it might be just the thing you need.
