Immediately after my morning meditation, I like to give. Do something nice for someone who may be in need. It’s usually a task I’m passionate about that can be finished in less than an hour. Like writing this post.

And I’ll implore you to do the same. Let the inspiration come to you. Don’t force it. It needn’t be a chore. Allow your mediation to guide the way. In future emails we’ll get to our evening and morning TO DO lists. This isn’t part of that process. Here, we are focusing on going with the flow, being ourselves.

Express your true nature. Have a great smile? Use it. Make someone smile today. Fantastic cook? Put all your love into preparing that breakfast this morning. Pretend it’s the last one you’re ever going to make. Insightful conversationalist? Book a lunch meeting with your friend in need. And the list goes on and on…

To help us get started, I’d like to give something away. 10th person to email me back gets a free ticket to one of our I Am Genie events. If you’re not in one of the cities we visit, feel free to give it away!

I’ll leave you with this beautiful well suited passage by George Bernard Shaw:

“This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.
I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community, and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can.
I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no “brief candle” for me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.”

Do whatever you can.
